AUSTRALIAN CRICKET BOARD STATEMENT

Statement made by R. J. Parish, O.B.E. Chairman of the Australian Cricket Board on the 16th of September, 1977.

This statement from the Australian Cricket Board is quite historic in nature. It outlines matters such as player payments, television rights, team sponsorships and some rule changes. 
Following a test series with England the board deemed it time to set the record straight and for it to answer and correct some of the criticism and statements published in the intervening period between May and September.
